About the Characters
The Minty & Friends collection is a group of gentle little characters, each representing a simple but important value.

🎸 Ruby encourages courage and confidence.

Together, they celebrate the qualities we want children to carry with them every day — kindness, bravery, patience, truthfulness, joy and faith.
Each keyring is more than a character. It’s a small reminder of big values.
Minty — The Helper
Minty loves growing things. Wherever Minty goes, small seeds feel braver. Flowers stand taller. Even shy little plants seem to whisper, “We can do it.”
One day, Minty found a tiny seed all alone in the soil. “I’m too small,” said the seed. “You’re just starting,” said Minty.
Minty stayed beside it, offering gentle encouragement every day. Slowly, the seed pushed up through the earth and grew into a bright green shoot. Minty smiled. Because sometimes the greatest strength is helping others grow.
Pumpkin — The Gentle Glow
Pumpkin wasn’t the scariest pumpkin in the patch. But Pumpkin didn’t want to be scary.
When a little child walked past feeling nervous on a dark evening, Pumpkin gave off the softest, warmest glow. The child smiled.
Pumpkin realised something important. It’s better to shine kindly than to shine loudly.
Rosie — The Calm Heart
Rosie the flower loved peaceful days. But sometimes strong winds would blow and shake everything around her.
Instead of snapping or shouting, Rosie bent carefully and stayed rooted in the ground. When the storm passed, Rosie was still standing.
And other flowers felt braver because they had seen her stay calm.
Ruby — The Brave Voice
Ruby loved music. One day she had the chance to perform in front of everyone — but she felt nervous. Her hands trembled. Her voice felt small.
Then Ruby remembered something important. Being brave doesn’t mean not feeling scared. It means trying anyway.
She sang with courage, and her song made everyone smile.
Shadow — The Truth Finder
Shadow loves solving puzzles. One day something important went missing. Everyone blamed each other.
Shadow listened carefully, asked gentle questions, and looked closely at the clues. Soon, Shadow discovered the truth — it had simply been misplaced.
Everyone felt relieved. Shadow knew that patience and honesty always lead to the right answer.
Splash — The Joy Bringer
Splash the water drop loved racing down the river. But one day Splash noticed someone sitting quietly and feeling sad beside the stream.
Instead of rushing past, Splash slowed down and made tiny sparkling ripples in the sunlight. The sparkle made the person smile.
Splash learned that spreading joy is more important than winning a race.
Sunny — The Faithful Light
Sunny shines every day. Even when clouds cover the sky, Sunny keeps shining above them.
Below, people may not always see the light — but it is still there.
And when the clouds finally move, everyone remembers that the light never truly left.

My mummy and I are making them together for our 2026 fundraiser, and we are so excited to share them with you.
Each little octopus is made with care, and every one helps us raise money for something really special.
